Default Discussion: Is Pop the way we know/like getting tired already?

Remember when all the platforms were full of all the pop artists we love and stan for?

    iTunes in 2008:

Now it is crowded with DJ's and viral trends for those who dare to join (Tropical House being the latest favorite):

... we can keep on adding Bieber's Sorry, Maroon 5's Don't Wanna Know, Selena Gomez It Ain't Me, and more!

    Billboard noticed it in April:

No Women Are in the Hot 100's Top 10 for the First Time in 33 Years

The top of the chart is exclusively a boys club for the first time since Feb. 11,1984

Only a few years ago, it seemed like men had all but disappeared from the chart's upper echelon, with music then dominated by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Adele and Beyoncé, etc.

n the 2010s, superstars including Swift, Adele, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Perry, Rihanna and others have regularly visited the bracket. Not a week had gone by until now that no women were in the top 10 in the '10s.

In the 2000s, many of those same artists hit the top 10, along with such other such chart-ruling women including Mariah Carey, Fergie, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys and P!nk.

    So... what do you think?
    Has pop changed forever?
Why is it getting so homogeninc?
Why are only few women capable of competing with the male chart domination?

It's just trends. It will pass.
